Crash ‘involving delivery driver’ blocks road near Great Western Hospital

A crash is partially blocking a main road  near the Great Western Hospital in Swindon.

Emergency services were called to the scene on the A4259 Marlborough Road shortly before 6pm today (24 October) following reports of the road traffic collision.

Police have coned off one lane on the dual carriageway as 999 crews work at the incident.

Two cars appear to be severely damaged following the collision — one of the vehicles is sporting a Dominos Pizza sign on its roof.

There are traffic delays northbound between Commonhead Roundabout and Coate Water Roundabout.

No one is believed to have been seriously injured.
