A serious crash has closed the A420 in both directions this morning (15 October).
Emergency services were called to the road traffic collision, believed to involve a car and lorry, before 8am.
The incident occurred near Shrivenham and has blocked the road both ways.
Wiltshire Police is asking motorists to avoid the area.
“We are advising drivers to avoid the A420”, a spokesperson said.
Adding: “A road closure is currently in place following a serious road traffic accident near Shrivenham.
“Please seek alternative routes to allow emergency services to attend the scene.
“It is likely that the road will be closed for a numbers of hours.”
