A36 near Warminster closed as air ambulance lands for serious collision

Emergency services are currently attending a serious collision near Warminster.

The A36 has been closed in both directions after 999 crews were called to the scene near Cley Hill Roundabout at around 9am.

Wiltshire Air Ambulance landed at the incident, touching down in a field near Warminster Rugby Club.

National Highways say “we are getting reports of a serious traffic collision”, adding that “Wiltshire Police are on scene at this moment in time”.

The road is blocked between A350 Crockerton Roundabout and Cley Hill Roundabout.

It’s not yet clear if anyone has been seriously injured in the collision.
