Suspected drug driver arrested after crash involving car, van and cyclist

A suspected drug driver has been arrested following a crash in Swindon.

Emergency services were called to Croft Road in Old Town shortly after midday today following reports of a road traffic collision.

The crash involved a car, a van and a cyclist.

The road was closed in both directions whilst 999 crews worked at the scene.

The driver of the car, a 28-year-old man, was been arrested on suspicion of drug driving and is in custody at Gablecross Police Station.”

The cyclist isn’t believed to have suffered any significant injuries in the collision.
