Teenager left with leg injury following two-vehicle collision on A36

A teenage girl has been left with a leg injury following a crash on Friday.

The emergency services attended a road traffic collision between a a black Skoda Superb and a silver Nissan van on the A36 at Wilton, at 4.30pm on 6 January.

Firefighters from Wilton Fire Station extricated one person trapped in a car.

A 13-year-old local girl suffered a leg injury and was taken to Southampton Hospital where she is currently in a stable condition.

Wiltshire Police has launched an appeal for witnesses to the crash.

PC Adrian Giles from the Collision Investigation Unit said: “This is a busy road connecting Warminster with Wilton and Salisbury and I would like to hear from anyone who witnessed the collision or was in the area at the time.”
