Air ambulance called after child riding on bicycle hit by car in Trowbridge

A child riding a bicycle has been hit by a car in Trowbridge.

The incident happened at around 6.15pm yesterday on the B3106 Hammond Way.

A yellow Nissan Duke collided with a boy riding a bicycle.

Great Western Air Ambulance attended the scene and airlifted a nine-year-old boy to Bristol Royal Hospital for Children with serious injuries.
