Two-vehicle crash leaves debris scattered across restaurant car park near Calne

Emergency services are currently at the scene of a two-vehicle crash near Calne.

Police, fire and ambulance are all in attendance at the road traffic collision outside the Gurkha Baynjan Restaurant on A4 New Road.

999 crews responded to reports of the incident, involving a silver BMW and a silver Ford, at around 11am this morning.

Nobody has been injured in the collision, Wiltshire Police has confirmed.

Debris could be seen scattered across the ground as police officers took statements and paramedics checked over those involved.

The A4 is unaffected by the collision, with all emergency service vehicles parked in the former Black Dog Inn car park.

It’s understood the BMW, travelling towards Chippenham, turned into the path of the Ford, which was travelling towards Calne.
