Police tow car obstructing Marlborough road after failed search for owner

Police have towed a car after it was obstructing a road in Marlborough.

Officers were called to Blowhorn Street following a report that a Skoda Yeti had parked preventing vehicles from passing.

Despite waiting for the owner to come back to the vehicle and searching for them, officers were unable to locate them.

As a result, the vehicle was seized. The owner will have to collect it from a police compound, paying associated fees to recover it.

“Please can we ask that you be mindful when parking your vehicle and allow a considerable amount of space for emergency vehicles”, a spokesperson for Wiltshire Police said.
