Man due in court charged with child sex offence after paedophile hunter sting

A 28-year-old Swindon man is due in court tomorrow charged with a child sex offence after a paedophile hunter sting in the town centre.

Mark Lee Smith was detained by Danny Catcher (formally operating under the name Western Hunters) for allegedly attempting to meet a child for sex in mid-June.

He’s due to appear before Swindon Crown Court on Friday 21 July, charged with attempting to cause/incite a child to engage in sexual activity.
