A man denies seriously assaulting a woman and injuring a child at his home in Swindon.

Karl Bauld, 33, faces a trial by jury next week after pleading not guilty to grievous bodily harm (GBH) and actual bodily harm (ABH) last month.

The defendant, of Melstock Road, Taw Hill, is accused of attacking a woman and her young daughter moments before she left his address on the morning of 18 March.
