Nearly 30 firefighters at scene of serious house blaze in Westbury

Nearly 30 firefighters are currently tackling a serious house blaze in Westbury.

Five fire engines from Warminster, Trowbridge and Frome are in attendance of the fire – which started at around 12pm today – in Westbury Leigh, near Mill Lane.

Residents are being advised to close their windows and doors.

A source at the scene has confirmed that those in the house at the time of the fire were able to exit without sustaining any injuries.

All pets have also been confirmed safe.
