Driver miraculously uninjured after crashing onto A36 barrier in Salisbury

A driver miraculously suffered no injuries after crashing her car onto a barrier. 

Police were called to the road traffic collision on the A36 in Salisbury at around 1.45pm on Sunday afternoon (21 February).

Only one vehicle, an BMW, was involved in the incident on Churchill Way West, at the junction which leads to St Paul’s Road.

The female driver wasn’t hurt in the crash, Wiltshire Police confirmed.

Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service also attended to make the scene safe.

Recovery of the car was carried out and the road was fully reopened at 4.40pm.
