One teenage male was taken to hospital for injuries sustained in an attack. Despite reports online that he suffered a stab wound, Wiltshire Police say he didn’t.

A spokesperson for the force said: “We were called to several anti-social behaviour incidents in the Walcot/Parks area of Swindon in the early hours of this morning (31/01).

“Following our enquiries, six males were arrested in relation to these incidents and are currently in custody at Gablecross Police Station.

“A teenage male was taken to hospital by the ambulance with non-life threatening injuries.

“As part of our ongoing investigation, local residents may notice an increased police presence in the area. Please be reassured this is linked to these incidents as we continue our enquiries today.
