Large emergency services presence at ‘rescue from height incident’ in Swindon

Emergency services are currently in attendance of a serious incident in Swindon.

Wiltshire Air Ambulance landed near to the scene shortly after 4pm after reports of a large fire and ambulance service presence in the Freshbrook area.

Fire crews, and officers, from Swindon, Westlea, Trowbridge and Chippenham are all attending the incident – reportedly a rescue from height operation – in Crawford Close.

Several ambulance vehicles are also at the scene. However, the air ambulance returned to its base in Melksham moments after landing in the area.
