Large emergency services presence in Corsham after car overturned in ditch

There was a large emergency services presence in Corsham last night as 999 crews responding to reports of a road traffic collision.

Wiltshire Air Ambulance landed near the scene in Lypiatt Road shortly after 9.30pm yesterday, Boxing Day (26 December).

A car left the road, coming to rest on its roof in a small river in a ditch. When police and ambulance crews arrived at the incident, the driver had already left the scene.

Wiltshire Police says no arrests have been made in relation to the crash.
