Two air ambulances land near Burbage for serious road traffic collision

Two air ambulances are in attendance of a serious road traffic collision this evening.

999 crews responded to reports of a crash on the A338 south of Burbage at around 5.30pm.

Wiltshire Air Ambulance and Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance both landed at the scene to provide urgent critical care to casualties.

Three fire crews, from Pewsey, Marlborough and Ludgershall, are at the scene.

The road has been closed in both directions between Burbage and Collingbourne Kingston. It’s likely to remain closed for several hours.
