Men sustain puncture wounds after being stabbed with carving fork in Melksham

Two men sustained puncture wounds when they were stabbed with what’s believed to have been a carving fork in Melksham on Tuesday.

Police were called to the incident in Brabazon Way, Bowerhill, at around 6.30pm after the pair were approached by a group of teenage males.

During the encounter, the two men were stabbed – one in the leg and the other in the arm. Their injuries were classed as minor.

PC Beth Collins said: “We would like to hear from anyone who was in this area at this time; did you hear or see anything suspicious? If so please contact us.

“We’d also like to hear from anyone who was driving in the area and may have dash cam footage they could share with us. Again, if that is you please come forward.”
