Driver reported for two driving offences after crashing into trees in Calne

The driver of a car which left the Calne Bypass and crashed into trees has been reported for two driving offences.

Police and ambulance were called to the road traffic collision on the A3102 near the Honeysuckle Close junction at around 6pm yesterday evening.

The black Ford Fiesta left the road and hit a number of small trees. The two occupants of the car suffered minor injuries in the incident.

The driver has been reported for driving without due care and attention and driving otherwise in accordance with a license.

The bypass was partially blocked for around two hours whilst emergency services worked at the scene. The vehicle was recovered by 8pm.
