Wiltshire Air Ambulance lands in Bath after man collapses in his home

Wiltshire Air Ambulance landed in Bath this afternoon, alongside the ambulance service and police, after a man collapsed in his home.

The air ambulance left it’s Devizes base at around 2.45pm, arriving in Bath at 2.55pm. It landed in Odd Down Playing Fields – which is close to the home attended by them.

Despite medics’ best efforts, the man in his 60s died at the scene.

A spokesperson for Avon and Somerset Police confirmed that they attended the address, as police investigate all sudden deaths. The death will be referred to a coroner.
