A suspect wanted by police following three arson attacks in Chippenham earlier this month has today been arrested.
It comes after police received a 999 reporting a sighting of the 31-year-old wanted male in the town at 10.25am this morning.
He was seen loitering in an alleyway off Lowden Hill and made off on foot when he was approached. Officers attended the scene and area search was conducted.
The suspect was later located and arrested on suspicion of arson and making hoax calls; he is now in custody to be questioned by detectives.
