Search and rescue volunteers look for missing 34-year-old Swindon man

A major search and rescue operation is underway in Swindon this evening as emergency services look for a missing man.

Police are appealing for information from the public regarding the whereabouts of 34-year-old Anthony Glover who has gone missing from his home in Pinehurst.

He is described as white, approximately 6 ft 3 inches tall, of skinny build.

It is thought he may be wearing blue tracksuit bottoms, a blue and grey t-shirt, a black cap and black and white trainers, although he may have since got changed.

This afternoon, Wiltshire Search and Rescue set up base in a car park at Seven Fields as they work to find missing Anthony.

A spokesperson for Wiltshire Police said: “We are concerned about Anthony’s welfare and would urge him to contact family, friends or the police immediately to let us know he is safe.

“Anyone with information about Anthony’s whereabouts should call 101 and quote log number 98. In an emergency call 999.“
