Door to door enquires were carried out by local PCSOs as detectives joined two police dogs and other officers as they searched the two properties. Local residents were handed flyers about spotting and reporting drug activity within their community.

One police dog was then seen searching a silver Ford Fiesta outside one of the properties.

There was a riot van, two dog units and several other police vehicles at the scene.

A spokesperson for Wiltshire Police said: “Officers were acting on community intelligence and during the warrants seized a quantity of class B drugs.

“Enquiries are ongoing. No arrests have been made.”

PC Paul Simpson said: “These warrants are examples of how important it is that the community continue to help us by acting as our eyes and ears and reporting any concerns they may have about suspected drug activity in their neighbourhood, as we will take action.”
