Black Lives Matter protests have been “subverted by thuggery”, PM says

The Prime Minister says Black Lives Matter protests have been “subverted by thuggery” as police officers in London and other parts of the UK remain under attack.

In a tweet, Boris Johnson told the country that people have no right to attack the police whilst they are taking part in what are supposed to be ‘peaceful’ demonstrations.

“People have a right to protest peacefully and while observing social distancing but they have no right to attack the police”, he commented.
