Ford KA driver, 19, arrested after FOURTH breach of coronavirus lockdown

The driver of a Ford KA who had been caught breaching coronavirus lockdown laws on three occasions was this morning arrested on suspicion of drug driving.

Roads policing officers came across the vehicle in Royal Wootton Bassett in the early hours of today, after being stopped by local police three times previously about non-essential travel and social distancing.

A police spokesperson said: “We have previously reported that a 19 year old [Royal Wootton Bassett] male has been blatantly breaching Covid-19 restrictions; he has already been issued with two fines after being dealt with by the Community Neighbourhood team on three separate occasions in less than a month.
