UPDATE: Car bursts into flames after collision with lorry near Marlborough
An air ambulance has landed at the scene of a serious crash near Marlborough.
It happened on the A346 at Ogbourne Maizey at around 10.30am this morning, and all three emergency services are attending the scene.
The main road is closed between Chiseldon (Swindon) and Marlborough, and isn’t expected to reopened for several hours.
A spokesperson for Wiltshire Police said: “It has been necessary to close this stretch of road between Marlborough and J15 to all heavy traffic and at Chiseldon to local traffic at this time.
“Please do not attempt to come down this road, and be mindful of restrictions in local villages surrounding the area if your vehicle is not suitable to pass through them.”
