Corsham police warn youths about ‘chasing lambs and starting fires’

Police officers in Corsham are warning youths and their parents that they will be ‘dealing’ with anyone found to be starting fires or chasing sheep in the area.

Local police have received a number of reports of incidents involving youths causing trouble on the Corsham Court estate in recent days.

On one occasion, Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service were called to extinguish a fire near the boating area of the popular lake.

Three local female teenagers are due to receive home visits from police officers.

 

Police are increasing patrols in the area.
