Off-duty paramedic discovers man seriously injured in Market Lavington road

An seriously injured man was discovered in the road by an off-duty paramedic in Market Lavington this evening.

The casualty, in his 50s, was found on Spin Hill with a head and leg injury at around 9.30pm today, Monday 2 December.

A spokesperson for Wiltshire Police said: “His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening, but it is unclear how he came to be injured.

“We are appealing for anyone who was driving in the area this evening and may have witnessed anything which could assist our enquiries to come forward.

“We would also like to speak to anyone who has dash cam footage to get in touch.

“Anyone with information should call Wiltshire Police on 101, quoting log 324 of today. Alternatively you can call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.”
