Three-time convicted paedophile returns to Chippenham home from prison

A three-time convicted paedophile has returned to his Chippenham home from prison in recent days.

Paul Stevens, of Chelwood Close, was sentenced to three-and-a-half years in prison but appears to have been released early as local residents report seeing him in the area this weekend.

He’s been spotted in the vicinity of his north Wiltshire abode – a first floor flat overlooking a quiet road, where most nights around a dozen children can be seen playing.

In his last offence, the 68-year-old former nurse admitted to three counts of possessing and two of distributing indecent images of children, according to the Gazette and Herald.

On top of these horrific child sex offences, he also plead guilty to breaching the terms of a sexual harm prevention order, which was imposed on him in 2011.
