A woman motorcyclist has suffered serious head injuries in a crash outside Trowbridge Fire Station.
Emergency services we’re called to the scene at 7.50pm last night, following a collision between a car and a motorcycle on the A361 Hilperton Road.
The motorcyclist, a woman in her 40s, suffered a serious head injury and was taken to Southmead Hospital.
The male driver of the car, which was a Skoda Octavia, was not injured.
The road was closed for around five hours while emergency crews dealt with the incident.
A spokesperson for Wiltshire Police said: “We are appealing for anyone who witnessed the collision, or anyone who has dash cam footage which could assist with our enquiries, to contact Wiltshire Police on 101 quoting log 349 of 2/10/19.”
