Traffic delays as firefighters work to free casualties from car after crash

Firefighters are working to extract two casualties from a car in Swindon this afternoon, causing traffic delays.

Emergency services were called to the scene of the two-vehicle collision on Paddington Drive at around 2.45pm.

A white Renault and a silver Honda Jazz were involved in the incident at the junction with Ashworth Road, with two casualties travelling in the Renault needing to be cut free by firefighters.

The extent of their injuries are not clear but South Western Ambulance Service are not yet at the scene.
