A woman has been knocked unconscious in a attack in Swindon.
Wiltshire Police is appealing for information following the incident in the early hours of Sunday morning, 9 April, in Theatre Square around 4.25am.
It’s believed an unknown male came from the nearby Medina nightclub and punched the woman to the head causing her to be knocked unconscious.
She received minor injuries and concussion.
Police would like to speak to the man in the CCTV image.
PC James Rodrigues said: “We are appealing for witnesses to this assault or to anything that appeared suspicious in this area in the early hours of Sunday.
“This is a popular part of town for people who are or who have been for a night out and I would imagine someone would have seen something.
“The man in question is described as having distinctive clothing and shoes.
“Please come forward if you can help us in anyway.”
