The body of a man in his 60s was found at a woodland in west Wiltshire this morning.

Police officers were called to Clanger Wood in Yarnbrook, near Trowbridge, at around 9.30am.

The discovery came hours after the disappearance of Michael Poulton, 60, who was last seen walking along the A350 towards Trowbridge – police later said he was located early this morning. The condition in which he was found has not been confirmed.
