Swindon baby dies after fighting for life in Bristol hospital for a week

A baby boy from North Swindon, who has been fighting for his life at Bristol Royal Infirmary for over a week, has sadly died of his injuries.

Police officers attended Thresher Drive, in North Swindon, on Saturday 25 March, where they discovered a young child with severe injuries.

A man from the local are, aged in his 50s, was arrested at the time but has since been released on bail, according to Wiltshire Police.

Their investigation into the incident is ongoing.
