Close call for Toni&Guy salon after collision with Marlborough store

It was a close call for a hairdressing salon on Marlborough High Street on Wesnesday evening, after a car collided with the store front.

Emergency services were dispatched to the scene on 29 March, where they discovered a brown Volvo which had crashed into a supportive pillar at Toni&Guy’s Essensuals salon.

The supportive pillar outside the store was completely destroyed.

No one was trapped in the car, and fire crews provide structural assessment.

Posting on Devizes Police Facebook page, a police spokesperson said: “Thank you to witnesses and bystanders that came forward to aid us with enquiries and to the fire crews for their prompt assistance and management of the scene.”
