Campaign launched to raise money to support family of Emily Williams

A fundraising campaign has been launched to help the family of Emily Williams.

The schoolgirl died at Bristol Children’s Hospital just days after being hit by a white Mercedes C180 on Meadowcroft in Stratton, Swindon, on Friday 16 November.

Now, close family friend Ian Baker has set up a JustGiving campaign to raise money to give to Emily’s family as they come to terms with her death last Sunday, 18 November.

The 11-year-old’s family made this tribute: “Emily was very musical and was always singing.

“Last year, Emily donated her hair to the Little Princess Trust which provides wigs for children who suffer from medical conditions or trauma. Emily’s hair was plaited and had bows and ribbons in and then was professional cut to make the donation.

“Emily has now donated her organs to help others.”
