A discarded container of liquid caused the closed of the A350 this morning.
Firefighters were called to the hazardous material (HAZMAT) incident in Chippenham at around 10am, where they worked to remove and discard the large container ‘as a precaution’.
It has not been confirmed whether the unknown fluid was hazardous at this stage. 
The road reopened at around 1pm.
