80 firefighters have spent the morning battling a major blaze at a property in south Wiltshire.
999 received several calls reporting a fire in a thatch roof in Moor Lane, Whiteparish, at around 9.30am, sparking a huge response from Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service.
Fire crews from Wiltshire and Hampshire attended the incident, including: Salisbury (2 pumps and aerial ladder platform), Fordingbridge (1 pump), Wilton (1 pump), Redbridge (1 pump), Romsey (1 pump), Totton (1 pump), Hamworthy (command support unit), Cranborne (1 pump), Ringwood (water carrier) Eastleigh (water carrier, 1 pump, manitou), Amesbury (1 pump), St Marys (1 pump) and Christchurch (water carrier), along with associated officers who were also mobilised to the scene.
Firefighters remain on scene now, working to damp the scene down.
Nearby livestock have been moved to a safe location away from the incident.
