Some residents have reported a number of explosions, due to gas canisters in the garden.

A Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: “Avoid the area if possible and we advise all neighbouring properties to keep windows and doors closed at this time.”

The British Red Cross has been dispatched to the incident to provide support to the occupiers. It is not yet clear if anyone’s been hurt.
