Police are urgently appealing to members of the public to help locate a missing 87-year-old.
Alan Haines, who suffers from dementia, has been missing from an address in Bradley Road Trowbridge and we are growing increasingly concerned for his welfare.
He is a five feet tall white male with short grey hair and glasses. He may be wearing green trousers, a navy fleece, a green zip up cardigan and sometimes wears a flat cap. 
It is believed that he left his home address at about 8am and walked towards Aldi in Bradley Road.
Alan has a distinctive walk – he holds his hands behind his back and has a hunch.
Anyone who sees him is asked to call police immediately on 999 quoting log 88 of today.
UPDATE 1.30PM:
Wiltshire Police has confirmed Alan has been found safe.
