66-year-old man injured as his vehicle overturns in crash in Purton near Swindon

A car’s ended up on it’s side during a crash in Purton this evening.

Emergency services were called to Pavenhill in the village at around 6pm, after four vehicles were involved in the road traffic collision near to the One Stop shop.

The 66-year-old driver of the silver Vauxhall Astra – which overturned – suffered minor injuries to his head and chest and was taken to hospital. No one else was hurt.

The road reopened at around 7.30pm.
