48-year-old Patrick Gaff charged with grievous bodily harm after man stabbed

A 48-year-old man has been charged over the stabbing of a man in Swindon.

Emergency services rushed to Crawford Close on Thursday after a 31-year-old man sustained serious injuries when he was bricked over the head and knifed in the neck.

Patrick Gaff, of Beaulieu Close, Toothill, has been charged with causing grievous bodily harm (GBH) with intent and possession of a knife, namely a Stanley knife, in a public place.

Gaff is due before Swindon Magistrates’ Court this morning.
